A beautiful model has delighted her fans with a string of tongue-in-cheek comments about her latest photo shoot.

Stunning German model and actress Alena Gerber posed up to 11 hours a day in a strenuous four-day booking by Italian luxury fashion brand Laura Biagiotti in Rome.

The 34-year-old mum of a six-year-old girl told her 817,000 Instagram followers the engagement for the company’s flagship perfume ‘Roma’ felt like “pure magic” despite the long hours.

In her post from 25th November, Alena is wearing a cream-coloured dress. Three days later, she posted several snaps showing her sporting a breathtaking white blazer and skirt combination as she strolled through the narrow streets of the Italian capital.

Temperatures dropped to three degrees centigrade during her night-time photo shoot, say local media.

Alena, who is married to retired Werder Bremen captain Clemens Fritz, proved she is not taking herself too seriously by commenting on the images saying: “La Dolce Vita – had it been 20 degrees warmer.”

Referring to a snap which slightly differentiates from its predecessor, the stunning blonde just quipped: “Like the first image, just darker.”

A short video of her idly walking along a narrow cobbled street while being photographed has been captioned by her saying: “Totally natural behaviour. I always run around the streets like that.

“I always concentrate on renewing my scent every few minutes.”

Another clip shows Alena sitting at a fountain presenting the flacon to the camera while a group of students is gathering in the background.

She commented on the footage saying: “Not awkward at all! Posing in front of school kids is one of my favourite activities.”

Asked by local media whether she struggled to pose in freezing temperatures wearing summer clothes, Alena explained: “It’s a technique you adapt to.”

She added: “For me, it’s like clicking a certain button. I instantly function. Like a professional athlete.

“I’m totally focused on the moment. You need to keep the desired result in mind.”

Ten years ago, Alena hit the headlines by stripping naked for animal rights group PETA’s anti-fur campaign.

But this October, she controversially posted a clip of swimming with sharks in a large pool at a luxury resort in Dubai.

In 2020, Alena had to be hospitalised in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, due to a serious cardiac issue.

She told her fans back then: “I am in the hospital because of an inflammation of the myocardium, which I have apparently been carrying for a few months.

The condition, which is often caused by a bacterial infection, can cause chest pain and shortness of breath. It may reduce the heart’s ability to pump blood.

Alena, who fully recovered, argued at that time: “I am on the right track, even if I know that you shouldn’t rush anything with such a diagnosis.”

Social media users were amazed by snaps from her latest engagement in Rome.

Her follower ‘ina_o.w.l’ said: “These are truly astonishing impressions!”
