This shocking image shows a man who was found walking around the streets of the Mexican capital with a knife sticking out of his abdomen.

The unnamed man was found walking on Emiliano Zapata and Rosario streets in the colony of Venustiano Carranza, in Mexico City, the Mexican capital.

He was reportedly stopped by paramedics of the emergency services as he was injured in the abdomen with the knife.

The man was still standing in the middle of the street and walking with the handle of the bald protruding from his abdomen – as seen in the picture shared online.

The man’s identity has not been reported and it is unknown how the knife ended up in his abdomen, local media reported.

Reports state the police officers who attended the emergency asked the man for the reason he had the knife in the abdomen and he answered that he was cold.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital and his condition remains unknown, according to local media.

The local authorities are investigating the case and working to find out if the man was under the effects of drugs.

The investigation is ongoing.
