Dutch cops have busted a Breaking Bad-style crystal meth laboratory hidden in a barn where they seized 10 million EUR worth of the drug and arrested three people including an American.

The raid was made in a barn in the village of Achter-Drempt in the municipality of Bronckhorst, in the central-eastern Gelderland province of the Netherlands and police said several kilogrammes of raw crystal meth, unfinished product and chemicals which would have increased the street value of the drugs were found.

The three men arrested were a 37-year-old from the United States, a 29-year-old Mexican and a 19-year-old from Colombia.

They were taken into custody on Friday night and remained in questioning on Sunday. Local media report a hearing for their remand is set to take place today (Monday) or tomorrow.

A tactical police team wearing full protective equipment carried out the operation, as can be seen in the photos where a suspect can be seen being searched with their hands against a wall.

A video taken by the police shows the inside of the drugs laboratory full of plastic containers and vents as police search it.

A specialised police unit were called to dismantle the laboratory along with firefighters. The investigation is ongoing.
