This is the moment a Siberian woman is filmed seemingly drinking alcohol from a bottle as she drives her Mercedes Benz – and she has now been fined over the offence.

The woman, named in reports as Anzhelika, 28, posted the video on social media from the city of Krasnoyarsk in central Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai region.

In the video, she can be seen behind the wheel of a moving Mercedes Benz when she takes a sip from a bottle reportedly containing alcohol.

She wrote in the caption of the video that nobody was sober in the car but has now landed in hot water after the local road police launched an investigation.

The driver has reportedly been fined 3,000 RUB (36 GBP) and her Mercedes has been impounded, with the driver needing to pay 15,000 RUB (182 GBP) to have it released.

Local media report she had previously been stripped of her licence but failed to drop it off at a police station.

She commented on the latest incident: “Drinking booze was a stunt.”

Netizen ‘Andrey Gromov’ said: “Why didn’t they arrest her for 24 hours? Could have taught her a lesson.”

While ‘Anton Davydov’ added: “She is so full of sh*t.”
