This is the moment a resident finds a stray cat with a trail of blood behind it after having its eyes gouged out by a sick thug.
The incident took place in the city of Petaling Jaya in the western Malaysia state of Selangor before the poor blinded cat was found meowing next to a trail of blood in a hallway.
In the distressing footage, the cameraperson follows the trail of blood on the ground before filming the injured ginger cat.
A kindhearted resident pets the poor feline as it lies on the ground next to a wall, meowing loudly and with blood all over its little face.
The blood is coming from two gaping wounds in its eye sockets.
According to local media, the cat was taken to a nearby vet for urgent treatment, however, its left eye had been completely gouged out while the other was severely damaged and bleeding profusely.
It is unclear whether the cat will ever have visibility in the damaged right eye.
The cat has since been sent to an animal shelter to recover, according to reports.
The local authorities have yet to confirm whether they are investigating the incident.
