This is the moment a young man plays a game on his mobile phone so furiously that he snaps the device in half.

The incident was captured on a CCTV camera filming inside an office in Loudi, which is a city located in China’s south-central Hunan province.

It shows the man, who was not named, sitting at table with a drink and some snacks while his colleague moves around the room, getting himself a glass of water while his colleague continues to play the game.

But at a particularly tense part of the game, the man applies too much pressure and his phone snaps in half, which is missed initially by his pal as he drinks his glass of water but who then bursts into laughter when he realises what has happened.

The second video shows the destroyed phone, which has been placed on the table with all the pieces in place but clearly beyond hope of repair.

The first video ends as the laughing man picks up his own phone and starts to tap away, presumably sending a note about what happened to other friends.
