Man Arrested For Sending Violent Electronic Threats

This dramatic footage shows Florida deputies chasing down and arresting a suspect for reportedly making violent threats via text messages.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested suspect Robert Lynch IV, 25, for two counts of written threats of violence and being a felon in possession of a firearm on 3rd April.

Lynch had been sending threatening texts to an unnamed victim and had even sent a video of himself holding an AR-style rifle while issuing a warning.

Detectives worked tirelessly over the weekend to track down and apprehend the suspect, who has a prior record of drug possession charges and was arrested in 2022 for possession of a weapon by a delinquent.

Multiple units from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office were involved in Lynch’s arrest, which took place during a traffic stop on Interstate-75.

Sheriff Carmine Marceno praised his officers’ hard work and dedication to keeping the community safe.
