This is the moment 25-year-old Latin superstar Maluma – who has worked with Madonna and Ricky Martin – bursts into tears as he receives his very first private jet.

The Colombian singer, who released a music video with Madonna in April, has bought a luxury private jet named Royalty Air and shared a video of the aircraft with his 46 million followers on Instagram.

In the video which has received over 3.6 million views online, Maluma is clearly emotional as he watches the plane make its way across the apron towards him.

He can then be seen crying before telling the camera from onboard the aircraft: “Welcome to ‘Royalty Air’. Dreams come true, I always tell you.

“I’ve worked really hard for this, I feel very happy, thank you! I love you.”

The 25-year-old songwriter also reminded his followers in a comment next to the video to “dream without fear and never take no for an answer”.

He added: “I remember 8 years ago when I went to do an interview at an X radio station in Colombia, the doors were closed, apart from that they did not believe in me.”

Other artists such as songwriter J. Balvin congratulated the music star on his new private jet. He wrote: “The world becomes smaller!! Congratulations my Juan!!!”

Maluma has won a Latin Grammy Award and two Latin American Music Awards. In 2017, Maluma was nominated for two categories at the Billboard Music Awards, including Top Latin Artist.
