This is the moment the owner of a Ferrari reportedly worth over 140,000 GBP becomes stuck on a flooded street in full view of ordinary commuters.
The incident was filmed on Caddebostan Street in the district of Kadikoy in the north-western Turkish city of Istanbul and was later posted on social media.
According to local media, heavy rainfall caused flash floods across the province and the streets of Istanbul were particularly affected.
An unnamed Ferrari driver became stuck on one flooded street when his fancy supercar suddenly stopped and would not start up again.
As other road users passed the vehicle without a problem, the frustrated Ferrari owner could not budge an inch.
In the end, the driver called for a tow truck to move the expensive obstacle off the flooded street.
From the footage, the vehicle appears to be a Ferrari GTC4Lusso.
Local media report the supercar is valued at 1 million TRY (142,770 GBP).
According to reports, when the Ferrari was lifted onto the tow truck, water was seen gushing out of its exhaust.
Netizens had a lot to say about the broken-down Ferrari, with ‘Mahmut Kurtar’ commenting: “I think the engine is dead, poor guy!”
‘Burak Byk’ said: “I think the engine got flooded with water, the owner will probably need to buy a new one!”
‘Hakan Tunc’ asked: “Why on earth would you drive a car like that on flooded streets in such terrible weather?”
