This is the funny moment a clever toy poodle tries to copy a person by wearing little boots and going down the stairs on two legs instead of four.

The video was recorded in the city of Baishan in the Chinese province of Jilin.

In the footage, the excited little dog can be seen wearing shoes as it nimbly dashes down the stairs on its front legs only, while keeping its hind legs raised in the air behind it.

The dog can be seen stopping after each pair of stairs and impatiently waiting for its owner to catch up as it was reportedly in a hurry to get outside as soon as possible.

The dog’s owner, who has not been named, told local media that probably the reason for the dog’s excitement was that it had not been taken out for a while, so, it was in a hurry to get out.

The video gained a lot of comments on the social network Douyin, which is what TikTok is named in China, such as netizen ‘remember to go to bed early’ who said: “It looks at you as if to say ‘Can you do this too?'”

While netizen ‘God of Nan’ commented by saying: “Dog: ‘Hurry up human, go like me, I’ll teach you.”

And ‘Shan ‘ wrote: “No wonder its waist is thin, I’m going to do this exercise too.”

‘Xiaoba pet steak’ joked: “Wearing shoes is awesome”.

And ‘Zeng Xijie’ smilingly added: “He seems to know he’s cool”.
