A young boy ran over his neighbour’s chicken with his bike felt so guilty he ran to a nearby hospital clutching the bird in one hand and all his pocket money in the other.

A photo of the unnamed tot, who lives in the town of Sairang in the north-eastern Indian state of Mizoram, bordering with Bangladesh and Myanmar, was posted on Facebook where it has been ‘liked’ 126,000 times and shared by 88,000 people.
In the heart-melting image, the sweet youngster, whose age was not reported, is seen looking into the camera with sorry eyes as he holds up a limp chicken in one hand and a banknote in the other.
According to local media, the boy was riding his bike on the street outside his home when he accidentally ran over a neighbour’s chicken.
Wracked with guilt, the tot rushed to get all the money he had and then took the bird to a nearby hospital.
Reports did not say whether the injured bird survived.
