A far-right Jewish group have been handing out booklets to members on how to act “like an LGBT person” in order to infiltrate and cause trouble at an Israeli gay pride parade.
The news comes ahead of this year’s gay pride parade in Jerusalem, Israel, which is set to take place in August this year.
Jewish ‘anti-coexistence group’ ‘Lehava’ is known for opposing the LGBT community as well as interfaith marriage and joint Jewish-Arab initiatives.
The reading material provides tips for members who wish to ‘infiltrate’ LGBT groups and supporters celebrating the pride event with the ambition of causing trouble.
The pamphlet includes sections covering Dress Code, Behaviour Patterns and LGBT Language.
In the dress code section, it details that members must dress in colourful clothing and avoid “dressing modestly” in order to look “like an LGBT person”.
Under the behaviour section, the pamphlet illustrates ways to talk and act like an “LGBT person”, such as “flamboyant body movements” and “using a loud voice”.
In an even more bizarre twist, the book then avoids would-be agitators to be cautious as “they tend to express themselves with long handshakes and hugs, please be cautious and keep your distance”.
The bizarre and ridiculous pamphlet is being dished out to far-right activists who wish to cause trouble.
Israel holds gay pride events every year and previous years have been marred by threats and violence from far-right extremist religious groups.
