Italy Red Cross Dance Baby Shark At COVID Kids Hospital

This is the moment a group of Red Cross volunteers dance to ‘Baby Shark’ in front of an Italian children’s hospital to cheer up the youngsters inside suffering from coronavirus.

The flash mob was organised in front of Giovanni XXIII pediatric hospital in Bari, in the southern Italian region of Apulia, on Sunday where volunteers from the Red Cross danced in front of the hospital.

In the video, the volunteers in full Red Cross uniform and face masks can be seen performing the choreographed dance in the courtyard of the hospital.

Regional politician Mario Conca shared the clip with the message: “A touching flashmob done at the hospital to give peace to our children in the recovery process, to their relatives and hospital staff, and also to all of us”.

According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University Italy has registered 132,547 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 16,523 deaths and 22,837 recoveries.

Baby Shark is a global dancing phenomenon and has received over 5 billion views on YouTube.
