IRAN HIJAB PROTESTS: Young Girl Sings For Camera Before Mum Is Shot By Security Cops

This newly-surfaced footage shows a young girl singing for the camera before her mother was hit by a stray bullet allegedly fired by Iranian security police as she watched a street protest from her rooftop.

Heartbreaking images of little Bavan crying inconsolably at her mother Fereshteh Ahmadi’s funeral had gone around the world days earlier.

Fereshteh, 32, was allegedly killed by gunfire from security agents at her home in Mahabad, West Azerbaijan Province on 27th October.

But Iranian authorities denied any responsibility for her death, claiming she was hit by a bullet fired from within her own home.

Human rights organisations have dismissed this claim.
