The mother of 36-year-old Balkan pop sensation MC Stojan has embarrassed her famous son online after he posted snaps from a wedding party and she told him to lay off the booze and “act like a gentleman”.
Serbian pop star Marko Stojkovic, better known as MC Stojan, was posting scenes from the wedding on Instagram for his 600,000 followers when his mum Zorica responded in the public comments section.
She said: “Son, are there any girls at the wedding? Lay off the drink, don’t get drunk! You are a public figure now so act like a gentleman! Start drinking water!”
MC Stojan took heed of his mother’s advice and immediately switched from alcohol to water which he showed with another photo upload.
His mum celebrated her 64th birthday three weeks ago and the singer posted a photo with the caption: “We are celebrating for the first time without Dad, but he is here in our minds.
“Happy birthday Mum, and thanks for putting up with me all these years. Your son loves you the most in the world.”
MC Stojan’s father passed away on 1st January this year.
His songs ‘La Miami’ and ‘Send Number’ were smash hits on YouTube, helping to propel the singer to stardom.
‘La Miami’ was the second most played song of 2018 in Serbia and the music video has been viewed over 103 million times on YouTube.
