This is the moment an Indian farmer sings Justin Bieber’s hit- Baby – while dancing to the song in a clip which has wowed netizens after it was shared online.

The video was shared by hundreds of thousands of social media users with many cheering on the farmer from Hindasagatte, a village in Chitradurga city in the centre of the Indian state of Karnataka, southwest India.

In the video, the farmer can be seen being coaxed by the person behind the camera to sing and according to local media the farmer replies, “don’t eat my head over this”.

The farmer then yields and drops his digger to start getting into the groove and singing the 2009 hit song, Baby.

Throughout the video, he dances to the tune, which has made him a social media sensation.

According to local media, the farmer – identified as Pradeep H. R. – is known for his pop music renditions.

In a twist, Pradeep previously failed his English class but was later motivated to start singing in English.

Local media additionally reported that Pradeep is famous in his own village and also sings in Japanese and Chinese.

He told local media: “I don’t know either Chinese or Japanese languages. But I listen to the songs in those languages repeatedly and follow the accent and tune. I always plug in earphones and constantly listen to songs whatever I am doing”.

Pradeep has a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Vedavathi College in the same state but became a farmer at his father’s request.
