This is the moment a terrified music teacher is knocked senseless by a baying mob of 12-year-olds after they locked her in her classroom.
Shocking details of the attack emerged from Vietnam on Facebook as pupils uploaded footage of the classroom riot.
The teacher after being sworn at and chased by the students around the classroom tries desperately to get out but finds both doors had been locked, apparently to trap her.
As she stands backed up against a wall a shoe flies through the air and hits her on her forehead.
Stunned, she puts her hand to her head to check for blood and then collapses to the floor as the children flee.
A second clip, also uploaded to Facebook, seems to be school CCTV footage of the teacher fighting back against the pupils.
As they jeer and goad her she runs around the desks with her shoes in her hand swingly wildly as the children flee.
The footage ends with the teacher hitting one pupil when she throws one of the shoes as she tries to hit back.
Now outraged education officials have demanded an inquiry into the classroom riot at Van Phu Middle School, in Son Duong, Tuyen Quang Province, on 29th November.
The row reportedly began when some pupils asked to leave the class early and the teacher told them they had to stay.
Vietnam’s Deputy Education Minister, Ngo Thi Minh, condemned the pupils’ action as a “serious moral violation”.
The ministry ordered locals to catch and punish the unruly students before 29th December.
