This is the moment hunky ‘Marry Me’ star Maluma shows off his facial injury after being bitten by his pet Doberman.

The Colombian singer, 28, who stars alongside Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson in the rom-com ‘Marry Me’, currently showing in cinemas, shared the clip on social media for his millions of adoring followers.

The pop star, who was born and raised in the Colombian city of Medellin, explained that his European Doberman named Buddha had got scared and nipped his handsome face, so loved by his legion of adoring fans.

In the footage, Maluma shows off the apparent bite mark on his forehead and says: “The sad reality is that Buddha bit me, but it was from fright, not aggression, just so you know. Animals are very loyal, but you have to be very careful. He didn’t do it out of malice. It was nothing. I love him as if nothing had happened.”

In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Maluma said of his part in ‘Marry Me’: “My role in the movie, the character is called Bastian, this guy is very similar to me. We both love acting, singing and being on stage; we both love fashion, but at the end of the movie, Bastian, not Maluma, kisses Jennifer’s assistant and everything goes to hell.”

When asked if he has any plans to start a family one day, the hunky singer said: “To be honest, I don’t know if I want to get married, my mum of course wants me to get married. I want to have a family and if I am going to get married, I want to do it like a kind of ritual, I would not like to have a giant wedding in front of many people.”
