This dashcam video shows an arguing couple crossing a road when the husband suddenly throws himself at a passing bus as his wife watches on.

The incident happened on the streets of the town of Dongping in Anhua County in China’s central province of Hunan on 4th November.

The dashcam video shows the as yet unnamed couple walking shoulder to shoulder across a thoroughfare when the husband suddenly leaves her side and runs into traffic.

The driver spots the pedestrian coming towards them and slams on the brakes, leaving the apparently emotional hubby slamming into the windscreen and falling onto the road.

His wife, who is wearing a thick winter coat, does not appear perturbed by her spouse’s actions and casually walks towards the vehicle.

As she watches calmly, she waves her arm at the bus driver, and reportedly gestures for them to drive on and ignore her husband.

According to reports, the couple had been arguing moments before the husband’s dramatic intervention.

According to local media, the man survived the incident.

Local authorities are understood to be investigating the case.
