HIT AND STUN: Car Piles Into Electric Bikers After Brakes Fail

This is the moment a car goes out of control as its driver tries to overtake another vehicle but crashes into the guardrail and slams into dozens of electric bikers.

The terrifying incident reportedly occurred when the car’s brakes failed, the driver – not named in local media – told police in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, eastern China on 15th November.

CCTV footage shows the vehicle starting to veer off the road after overtaking a car, slamming into the guardrail.

And on the other side of the rail are people riding on electric scooters, who get struck by the car and scatter over on the ground like skittles.

The driver was able to turn the steering wheel in time and get back on the main road, dragging along a large metal pole that got jammed into the passenger’s side of the car when it hit the guardrail.

Fortunately, there were no serious consequences after the crash and no one was reported to be injured.

The driver later spoke to the local police and claimed that the collision came as a result of his brakes suddenly malfunctioning, which caused him to lose control of his vehicle.

The video of the dangerous clash was later shared on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens were apparently baffled by the strange incident, and user ‘Thanks for meeting you’ jokingly asked: “Is this driver flying a plane?”
