This 35-year-old Spanish Army corporal has died during a training exercise when the armoured vehicle he was travelling in overturned.
Corporal Benaribi Amar, who joined the Spanish Army in 2003, was killed at the BRILEG General Headquarters at the Alvarez de Sotomayor base in the municipality of Viator in the southern Spanish province of Almeria on 3rd August.

A Spanish Ministry of Defence spokesperson told Real Press that the circumstances of the soldier’s death are still under investigation, and that no other fatalities or injuries were reported.
The spokesperson added that the corporal’s death took place during a scheduled training exercise.
Corporal Amar was single with no children.
The Spanish Army said on Facebook that the victim was a member of the Brigade de la Legion Rey Alfonso XIII.
The Coalition for Melilla political party offered their condolences to the soldier’s loved ones on Twitter, writing: “There are no words of comfort for the family of this man who died so young while in service.”
