A mum who went shopping for a bottle of aloe vera skin care cream for her family mistakenly returned home with a bottle of Durex sex lube marked ‘aloe vera, kind and gentle pleasure gel’.

The incident took place in Malaysia and was shared on Twitter by netizen ‘Eleanor’ where it has been widely circulated.

Eleanor said that her mother went to the shops for a bottle of aloe vera for the family and accidentally came home with the wrong product.

Other family members were also unaware of the mishap until Eleanor’s 19-year-old sister went to apply the aloe vera to her legs.

After noticing that the gel felt unusual on her legs, the sisters checked the product and soon realised it was a Durex sex lubricant marked ‘aloe vera, kind and gentle pleasure gel’.

Local media said the sisters pointed out the error to their mother, who reportedly wears a hijab, and she was shocked, recalling how the cashiers eyed her up suspiciously at the counter when she bought the sex lube.

The embarrassed mum reportedly tried to throw the product away, but Eleanor retrieved it and apparently managed to sell it on, according to reports.
