GUNNER CATCH ‘EM ALL: Two Suspects Arrested For Multiple Shootings, One Involving A Toddler

This is the moment Florida deputies locate and arrest two 18-year-olds suspected in several shootings, one involving a toddler.

Police finally caught up with Damarion Mims, nicknamed ‘Taz’, and Elijah Bruten, nicknamed ‘Lala’, both 18, in DeLand city, in the US state of Florida and placed them in custody.

The two teens are suspected of being involved in at least three shooting incidents, including the shooting at an occupied vehicle with a toddler inside.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, along with a statement that said: “Bruten is charged with principal to aggravated assault with a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, delinquent in possession of a firearm, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, no valid driver’s license and possession of marijuana.

“Mims is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and violation of probation.”

Body-worn footage shows the arrest of Bruten, who was placed in handcuffs moments before a 9mm handgun was recovered from his car by deputies.

Both suspects are currently being held without bond at the Volusia County Branch Jail, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigations into several recent shootings remain active as an increased wave of violent shootings has swept across DeLand, the Sheriff’s Office added.
