This is the moment an angry resident pummels a security guard because he called his apartment to tell him to lower his music.

The incident was filmed in the colony La Condesa in the municipality of Cuauhtemoc in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and was later widely shared on social media.

The video was shared with the message: “Please share this video of a guy attacking a security guard who asked him to turn down the music in his home.”

In the CCTV footage, the suited guard is seen turning to speak to someone at the door before being kicked backwards into a desk.

The suspect, seen wearing a half-open white shirt, starts pummelling the guard despite his shoes repeatedly slipping on the floor.

After he slips and falls onto the floor, another worker comes out of his office to calm down the angry resident.

According to local media, the security guard called the suspect’s apartment to ask him to lower the music.

Netizen ‘Tuitbysergio’ said: “These thugs are the kind of people we hope to see on the rough end of a kicking in the next video upload!”

‘Patyoramirez’ commented: “He should be kicked out of the building. I hope the security guard reports him.”

It is currently unclear whether the local authorities are investigating the incident.
