This beautiful but apparently lonely Turkish influencer who nonetheless has an army of half a million followers has announced that she will pay USD 200 per day just to have someone be her friend and hang out with her.

Bahar Candan, age not disclosed, is a Turkish influencer who lives in the city of Istanbul and who made a name for herself after she participated in a reality television show called Iste Benim Stilim (This Is My Style), in which female contestants compete in front of a judge to find out who is the greater and more stylish fashionista.

Bahar, who came runner-up in the sixth season of the show, gained many followers on her Instagram account due to her apparent life of luxury and quirky fashion sense.

Complaining about how lonely she has been feeling, despite having an army of 552,000 followers, Bahar shared a post on Instagram Stories yesterday (29th December) and announced that she was looking for a friend.

Her post said: “I am looking for a female friend around Istinye Park and Maslak. Dinner’s on me, and I’ll pay USD 200 per day.”

Bahar had shared a similar post on her social media account a few months ago saying that she would pay a salary of TRY 5,000 (GBP 281), and she revealed that many university students had sent her their resumes.

Some netizens trolled her and claimed that she had only posted again about trying to find a friend because she had been unsuccessful the first time.

A netizen named ‘Adam Keklik’ wrote: “Even if you give a trillion dollars, you’re unbearable and spoiled.”

Another netizen named ‘Halil Kahraman’ wrote: “You’re a loser who thinks money can buy anything.”
