GOING UNDERGROUND: Firemen Rescue Sheep Stuck Inside A Concrete Pipe

(starts)

This footage shows Italian firefighters rescuing a sheep that was trapped inside a concrete water pipe a few metres under the ground.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Vigili del Fuoco, along with a statement according to which the rescue mission took place in the Italian comune of Rotello, situated in the Campobasso province on 9th October.

The fire brigade had to bring in an excavator to dig a giant hole through the ground before they could access the pipe in which the sheep was stuck in.

The firefighters appear to have used a ladder to climb down into the dugout and shovel out more dirt and large rocks by hand.

After finally getting through the pipe, they were able to get the seemingly unharmed sheep out and placed it in the excavator claw to lift it to the ground surface.

As the footage cuts, the rescuers can be seen walking the sheep to what appears to be its owner’s tractor.
