This is the funny moment a boy tries to kick a snow-laden tree in a winter wonderland landscape but he misses and tumbles down a small hill as his friend laughs uncontrollably.

His other friend, meanwhile, appears to be completely oblivious to his antics as he is too busy gathering snowballs off the ground and making a neat pile of ammunition next to himself.

The incident took place in Anyang, which is a city located in Henan province in central China, after heavy snowfall.

The boys, who have not been named, can be seen in the footage playing in the snow, gathering snowballs to have a snowball fight.

But before they can even get started, one of them tries to kick a tree, perhaps to see if the snow will fall off it onto the ground.

No snow falls to the ground and he moves on to another tree, but this time he misses, no doubt because he has his head in the air and is looking at the snow at the top of the tree instead of where he is kicking.

He loses his balance, tumbling out of sight and downhill as his friend, who is filming the whole scene, can be heard bursting out laughing.

The second friend, upon hearing the laughter, looks up inquisitively. Both go over to the side of the small hill to see their friend, who is also laughing, getting to his feet and dusting himself off of the snow on his clothes.

He appears uninjured and it is not thought that he needed any medical attention. It is unclear who won the snowball fight.
