Four Adults On Phones Shockingly Too Busy To Stop Toddler That Ran In Front Of SUV

This is the shocking moment a two-year-old boy was crushed by a car while crossing the road after walking away from his family who were allegedly all on their phones.

The video, which was filmed in the city of Wenzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang, shows the little boy who was part of a family of five out for a stroll.

While the four adult family members were engrossed in looking at photos on their phones, the boy ran away towards the road without their notice.

The child was crossing the road while a white car was passing, and it seemed the driver did not see the boy and crushed him under its wheels before suddenly stopping.

Fortunately, due to the cushioning effect of wearing padded clothes, the child apparently escaped serious injury.

After the incident, traffic police determined that the parents were primarily responsible for the accident. While the driver shared secondary responsibility.

The video was posted on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok.
