FOOTBALL CRAZY: Iraqi Man Leaves A Will Saying He Wants His Coffin Covered With Real Madrid’s Flag

An Iraqi man’s funeral has caused a heated debate on social media after his coffin was covered with a Real Madrid flag.

The fan identified as Qasim who reportedly died of cancer had left a will to his family in which he told them to cover the coffin carrying his corpse with Real Madrid CF’s flag.

The bizarre wish was reported by media in Iraq on Tuesday, 1st November 2022.

Qasim, who was reportedly aged 57 and had no children, also stated in the document that he wanted photos of the sight to be published on Facebook.

He also said that he wanted nobody present at his funeral, according to media.

In the final lines of his testament, he claimed he would leave his pension to his sister Umm Ali, if his dying wish was fulfilled.

The images that spread on social media provoked different reactions from users, as some ridiculed his last request.

Others, in turn, found his demand quite amusing and honoured his sister for making it happen.

Real Madrid CF has not made any official statements regarding the case so far.
