FLYING SQUAD: Motorist’s Lucky Escape As Flying Piece Of Metal Hits Car Mid-Drive

This is the moment a thick metal piece comes flying off of a lorry and slams into a fast-moving car’s hood in the middle of the road in eastern China.

The iron plate hit the car like a flying knife, and it hit straight into the hood in the blink of an eye, which stunned the car owner, Mr Yuan, who was driving normally on the motorway in the city of Ningbo, in the province of Zhejiang.

Mr Yuan told local media that the situation scared him a bit, especially after realising it could have easily struck the windshield.

He happened to catch the moment the metal plate jammed itself into his car on the dashboard camera and later posted the video on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

A second piece of footage shows just how big the piece of flying metal was, and the damage it caused to Mr Yuan’s car, which is currently being repaired.

Mr Yuan said that at the time of the incident, a lorry driving next to him pressed against the iron plate, and the iron plate bounced and went flying into his car.
