Concerned fans have warned a model that she looks “anorexic” and like a “walking skeleton” after she posted a series of swimsuit snaps on social media.

Katrin Vacheva, 36, posted the photos on Facebook while reportedly staying at the Tsarsko Selo Spa Hotel near the western Bulgarian capital Sofia.

In the snaps, Vacheva appears overly thin as she poses in a striking blue swimsuit.

Many fans of the Bulgarian model, who began her career in 2003, were concerned by the Facebook photos with netizen ‘Mariana Eftimova’ enquiring: “Are you anorexic?”

‘Siika Macalova’ commented: “You look awfully thin.”

‘Cvetomira Dankova’ said: “A walking skeleton.”

‘Bebo’ wrote: “This model has always been monstrously ugly!”

However, the brunette explained: “Yes, it is true that I have lost a few kilogrammes in the last couple of months (three kilogrammes (6.6 lbs) to be precise!). However, because I am tall the difference seems more drastic than it is.”

Vacheva also said that her weight loss was not caused by dieting: “The opposite is true, I even tried to put on a few kilogrammes! In the pictures, I may appear too thin but I can assure you that I am fine!

“Thank you for your attention and concern.”
