A former conman who scooped millions on the lottery is to star in a new documentary on his lucky life.
Reformed jailbird Kursat Yildirim, 36, known as Chico to friends, turned his life around after winning EUR 10 million (GBP 8.72 million) in the German lottery last year.
Now a TV documentary is to reveal just how much he has changed since the massive win.
Chico and his police chief girlfriend Candice Newgas, 36, will reveal in the VOX documentary how they plan to marry and start a family.
The pair began dating after she stopped him for speeding in one of the supercars he bought following his win.
German media reported that the show – part of a series of documentaries called ‘New Life New Happiness!?’ – will air on 24th November.
Since his win, Chico gave up his job as a building site crane driver in Dortmund and has become one of the most written-about men in Europe.
He now has more than 877,000 Instagram followers and is known for his lavish spending on cars, designer clothes, property and luxury watches.
Viewers will also see Chico on holiday in Kenya with Candice after the documentary crew followed them on the VIP break.
Despite his free-spending image, he has also sent food aid to earthquake victims in Turkey and used some of his winnings to help his city’s poorest residents.
