Engineer Troops Successfully Cleared Mines On Krasnolimansk Front , The Russian MoD Said

Russia sapper units of the Central Military District executed a critical mission in the Lyman Oblast, eliminating Ukrainian-laid mines and explosive devices on the 23rd of January, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Navigating wooded terrains, combat vehicle crews meticulously ensured secure pathways for military units. The engineering reconnaissance team reportedly uncovered and neutralised an anti-tank mine and anti-personnel mines during an intensive road inspection.

Operational at the front line, the sapper groups encountered challenges but efficiently cleared approximately 50 anti-tank mines, showcasing their expertise. In addition to this hazardous task, military engineers strategically prepared bridge crossings, essential for facilitating troop movements across challenging terrains such as ravines, swamps, and riverbanks.
