This is the moment a reportedly drunk priest has a fight with a mourner at a funeral because he was angry another clergyman had been asked to give the service.

The bizarre scenes were recorded by an onlooker during the funeral in the commune of Salvirii Vechi, in Northern Moldova’s Drochia District after local priest, Ion Zicu was not asked to give the service.

Local media report Zicu then showed up the funeral dunk and in the video he can be seen in a black robe throwing several punches at one of the mourners at the funeral, who has not been identified in reports.

ONlookers then step in to break up the fight in the cemetery and the local Mayor Fiodor Maranceac said the deceased, who has not been named, had asked for Zicu not to be called to give the service at his funeral.

The victims filed a complaint with the police and said they would address the Metropolitan Church of Moldova.

The priest is around 60 years old, he has no family and he first arrived in the village three years ago when a new church was built in the locality, according to reports.
