The incident took place in the district of Zadonsky in the western Russian region of Lipetsk Oblast on 29th April when the unnamed lorry driver, 41, reportedly fell asleep.

The 41-year-old man suffered several injuries but none of them serious and he did not need to be hospitalised, according to reports.

Netizen ‘Alexander’ commented: “I do not have any issues with the driver, he obviously fell asleep, which happens, especially when driving at night, but I have questions for the lorry manufacturer. What are you making them with for them to become so damaged in such a minor accident?”

‘Denis Fedotov’ said: “I am shocked. At first, I thought there was no way the driver could survive, but he didn’t even need to go to hospital.”

Local authorities have not commented on the matter.
