This is the moment a penned-in driver repeatedly crashes into a parked car blocking his way to move it as he was late for work.

The startling incident occurred in a residential area in Guangzhou city in South China’s Guangdong Province and was recorded by an onlooker.

In the video, a driver trapped in a parking space on all four sides by other cars drives directly into the black vehicle parked in front of his car.

The driver then reverses and then accelerates into the car in front of him again, trying to knock it out of the way and the person recording can be heard gasping.

The driver reverses again before quickly squeezing through the small gap he has created, ramming into the black car one more time before driving out of the car park.

Local media report the driver claims he was late for work and could not contact the owner of the car parked in his way so he decided to ram it away.

Neither driver brought the case to court and local media state they reached a private settlement regarding the incident.
