Double Bubble, Florida Woman Wins Lottery Twice In Same Day Pocketing USD 4 Million

A woman in Florida has pocketed USD 4 million after playing the lottery twice on the same day and hitting the jackpot.

The woman, named as 64-year-old Susan Fitton from Boca Raton in Palm Beach County in the south-eastern US state of Florida, “claimed two USD 2 million Mega Millions with Megaplier prizes at the West Palm Beach District Office from the drawing held on September 14, 2021”, according to the government-run Florida Lottery.

They added in a statement that “the winning tickets matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball”.

They said that Fitton had purchased the tickets at Prip Mart, located at 299 West Camino Real in Boca Raton, adding that “the retailer will receive a USD 10,000 bonus commission for selling the two USD 2 million winning Mega Millions” tickets.

She beat incredible odds, with local media outlet WPTV reporting that the chances of winning just one USD-1-million prize are 12,607,306 to one.

It is currently unclear what the lucky woman plans to do with her bumper winnings.
