This is the hilarious moment a clever dog stretches itself between a palm tree with its back legs and a wall with its front legs so it can peer over it.

The incident was shared on Twitter by Indian businessman Harsh Goenka who accompanied the clip with the message: “Mind your own business. But then again, when you love your neighbour as yourself…”

Goenka’s post, which he said was was filmed in an unspecified location in India, has been viewed 30,000 times on Twitter.

In the footage, the clever dog is seen balanced between the tree and a wall as it slowly edges its way to the top.

The clever pooch then carefully shimmies further up the tree until it can perfectly see over the top of the wall.

While inspecting the neighbour’s property, a woman is heard sniggering before calling out “Isabella”.

One Twitter user commented. “Imran Khan [Pakistan PM] trying to peep across the LOC [Line of Control, referring to the military control line between India and Pakistan in the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir].”

Another netizen said: “Not just dogs, people do this all the time too!”
