This doctor says these images show how the Virgin Mary appeared to him in the chapel of a COVID-19 clinic.
He said: “Her manifestation was big and she was levitating”.
The photos were taken at the Reina Sofia Clinic in the western Colombian capital Bogota by Doctor William Pinzon who was working the night shift at the time.
In the photos, images of the Virgin are seen in the clinic’s chapel and in a corridor.
Doctor Pinzon told local media: “She (Virgin Mary) appeared before me in person.
“Her manifestation was big and she was levitating.”
Meanwhile, clinic staff called the Virgin’s presence a “miracle” for the patients currently being treated there for COVID-19.
Maria Esperanza, who cares for the chapel where the Virgin Mary statue is located, told local media that she manifested “to visit the sick people of the world who are suffering with COVID-19”.
She added: “The Virgin also cries tears of blood.”
Esperanza said: “She is visiting COVID-19 patients because she is suffering, she is a loving mum.”
According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University, Colombia has registered 13,610 cases of COVID-19 and 525 related deaths.
