Hitman Used Two Sons To Help Him Murder Estranged Wife Of Wealthy Businessman To Stop Divorce Payout

A hitman is facing life together with his two sons after they allegedly stabbed the estranged wife of a wealthy businessman to death in her home so she would not inherit any property during an upcoming divorce case.

The husband who offered the contract named, Leonardo Hisa, whose age was not given, allegedly hired his wife’s former employee Juan Carlos Guerrero to find someone willing to murder his soon to be ex-wife in exchange for cash.

Carlos Guerrero accepted the offer and planned to pass on the contract but when he failed to find anybody, he allegedly decided to do it himself and involved his two sons Kevin and Alexis Guerrero in the crime.

Juan Carlos Guerrero and his two sons are expected to be convicted alongside Hisa, with Carlos being charged as the ‘primary participant’ and his two sons as ‘co-perpetrators. The age of the suspects has not been confirmed.

Local media outlet Infobae reports that the prosecutor on the case Jorge Quiroga believes that the brutal crime was motivated by “serious personal and commercial conflicts that had arisen during the last few years of their marriage”.

Although the crime occurred on 5th March (2018) the prosecutor believes that the suspect began planning his wife murder on 23rd February at which point it had become clear to the suspect that he was about to lose a considerable amount of assets in the divorce.

The suspect contacted Juan Carlos Guerrero, a former employer of the victim asking him to find someone to kill his boss in exchange for an undisclosed sum of money.

Carlos Guerrero reached out to his two sons Kevin and Alexis asking them to find someone who would be willing to carry to murder Carleti.

However, they struggled to find anyone and on 4th March the husband found out that all the paperwork finalising the divorce was about to be signed and processed the following day 5th March.

The prosecutor believes that Hisa panicked knowing that he was about to potentially lose considerable amounts of money in the divorce settlement and his wife had still not been killed.

He allegedly sent a text message to Carlos Guerrero on 4th March asking him to “accelerate the plan” as “time was running out”.

Carlos Guerrero admitted that he had failed to find anyone who was up to the job and therefore decided to plan the murder himself.
