Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea’s pop-star WAG has said she “would take” the shot-stopper to a desert island with her after hinting the pair could soon be married.

Spanish international De Gea’s WAG Edurne Garcia Almagro has sent a loving message to the shot-stopper in an episode of ‘Spain’s Got Talent’ which broadcast by Spanish channel ‘Telecinco’ based in the capital city Madrid.

One of the show’s panellists Risto Mejide asked the other judges what they would take to a deserted island.

Garcia was the first to answer and did not need much time to think of a response, immediately answering: “I think I would take my boyfriend” referring to De Gea.

The comment comes after she recently hinted she could marry her boyfriend of eight years. When asked by fellow presenter Paz Padilla “when she was going to get married” the pop star answered, “well, we’ll see”.

Garcia, known simply as Edurne, 33, is a singer, actress and television presenter who gained popularity during her casting for the Spanish reality-tv singing contest ‘Operacion Triunfo’ in 2005.

Though she finished sixth in the show, she later went on to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.

She has worked on ‘Spain’s Got Talent’ since 2015.
