This dashcam footage shows a lorry crashing into a car which suddenly pulls out just a few feet in front of the HGV on a snowy road.

The footage was recorded by the dashboard camera of a lorry travelling on a snowy road near the city of Talitsa in western Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast region.

In the video, the lorry can be seen making its way down the road when a Zhiguli car being driven by an OAP suddenly pulls out in front it from the right.

The lorry driver has no time to react and crashes straight into the driver’s side of the car and both vehicles are sent careering off the road.

Local media report the driver of the car, 74, and his female passenger, 72, were killed on the spot.

It is unclear if the lorry driver was injured in the crash. An investigation has been launched to determine if the crash could have been avoided.

A guest user of a local Internet forum said: “His wife could have distracted the OAP from the road and he might have missed the lorry coming. Maybe he had a mini heart attack. But the OAP is the guilty one 100 percent.”

Another guest user added: “Thankfully it was all recorded on a dashboard camera. Otherwise the lorry driver would have been in major hot water.”
