This is the viral moment a childcare worker tries to cram 10 schoolchildren into her hatchback.

The incident was filmed in the town of Puchong in the western Malaysian state of Selangor and the video was posted on Facebook by netizen ‘Chong Seow Hong’ where it has been viewed over a million times.

According to local media, the worker in the video is a private car owner who offers school drop-off and pick-up services, which is commonplace in Malaysia.

However, the unnamed woman has been accused of risking the lives of the students by reportedly attempting to cram at least 10 into her small hatchback.

Reports said that family members were outraged by the viral video and Li Weihong, head of the parents’ association, confirmed that the woman was a childcare provider who has since been reported to the authorities.

Meanwhile, the students involved have reportedly been receiving counselling.

In the footage, the childcare worker is seen trying to get two schoolboys to fit into her small boot, already half-full with bags.

After failing to get the boys in the boy, seven children are seen leaving the car from the front and back doors, one of them even has a large stringed instrument in a case.

There also seems to be more children in the back seat, but local media did not confirm the exact number of passengers.

Despite multiple complaints from outraged parents and netizens, the local authorities have yet to confirm that they are investigating the ‘childcare provider’, according to local media.
