This heart-pounding footage shows the moment an adrenalin junky walks across a tightrope between the top of two skyscrapers.

The dramatic footage was recorded by daredevil and blogger Alexander Gribanov in the business district of the Russian capital Moscow.

Gribanov, is originally from Russia’s second city Saint Petersburg, shared the clip of him walking a tightrope at a reported height of 354 metres (1,161 feet).

In the clip, the blogger can be seen climbing around the top of a skyscraper with safety equipment.

He then reaches a tightrope stretching across to another skyscraper and appears to attach another safety knot.

Gribanov can then be seen walking across the tightrope with Moscow’s streets far below.

He eventually reaches the other side and takes a seat on the rope.

He said: “You get up on the rope, you are afraid of the height, the length, and the wind. But you just relax, focus on the technology and movement. Try to keep your mind and body relaxed. You start to get up and move, take it step by step. Do not make unnecessary movements and just go.”

He said using high-quality equipment including a lightweight rope is key to the stunts like this.

Some netizens such as ‘Sergei Nikishin’ or ‘Mikhail Sizov’ said the stunt was “Cool and awesome”, but others slammed the daredevil for his actions.

‘Nadezhda Grigorieva’ said: “People are doing whatever it takes to be noticed, yet silliness is always ahead.”
