This Russian dad has been slammed for risking his baby’s life after walking across a lake covered in thin ice with the tot in a pram.

This bizarre scene took place in the southern Russian city of Nizhny Tagil in Sverdlovsk Oblast and was recorded by an onlooker.

In the video, a man who has not been named in reports can be seen walking across a frozen lake dragging a pram with him.

Onlookers can be heard slamming him for his stupidity, saying the ice is too think to be safe but the man says the ice is thick enough.

He then turns the pram and leaves it on the ice alone before returning to carry it off the lake with his child inside.

An onlookers says “if you do not care about your own life then do not endanger the kid’s,” but the dad does not respond and walks away.

It is unclear if the case has been reported to the authorities but reports state other cases of cyclists riding on the ice have been spotted on the lake, causing the local police to begin patrolling the area.

It is unclear why the man was on the ice with the pram.

Netizen ‘Pavel Manakov’ commented: “A mental clinic is the home for this stubborn man!”
