This is the moment an angry cyclist breaks the side view mirror of a moving lorry which then deliberately rams him off the road in revenge.

The incident occurred on the ‘Pasir Ris Drive 3’ road located in the island city-state of Singapore, and a video of the incident shows two cyclists riding on the road as a blue lorry drives behind them.

When the 57-year-old lorry driver, whose identity has not been revealed, reportedly honked twice because they were blocking his road, one of the cyclist is seen apparently hitting the lorry’s side mirror on purpose.

The lorry driver then retaliates by knocking the 35-year-old cyclist off his bike by swerving at him and causing him to fall on the grass.

Apparently the motive for breaking the side mirror was because the lorry driver honked at him.

The cyclist reportedly suffered a scratched arm and was lucky not to be more seriously hurt.

The lorry driver was reportedly arrested for dangerous driving and could face up to six months in jail, while the cyclist was reported for bad riding and causing a disturbance.

The video spread on social media with netizens supporting the lorry driver in his action.

Netizen ‘Haven Ong’ commented: “To bad the lorry made the biggest mistake of his life in leaving the stupid cyclist still standing – he should have left him in a wheelchair for his life” (sic)

And ‘Jason Akk’ added: “You hit his side mirror first. You distracted the driver.”
