This is the moment a motor-truck rider in southwest China has two miracle escapes in just two seconds.

CCTV footage of the drama shows the driver trying to steer his three-wheeled truck backwards down a steep mountain road.

But as he misjudges the bend, one wheel slips over the edge tipping him out of the door.

Astonishingly he does not fall straight down into a ravine but is catapulted across the gap onto the road in Liangshan, Sichuan Province, on 11th January.

But unfortunately, the truck keeps going too and rolls over on top of him, pinning him underneath.

One villager – named only as Ayozhigu in local media – and his wife rushed over to help the man.

Two more bystanders came running and lifted the truck, pulling the driver to safety.

Amazingly, the truck driver escaped with barely a scratch and drove off after getting catching his breath.

Afterwards, footage of the drama was shared on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens praised the quick response of the witnesses.

User ‘Dayton less’ said: “That girl’s mentality is so good, she’s so calm.”

And user ‘Cherry tomato!’ wrote: “I almost thought he would get pressed into a meatloaf.”
