This is the horrifying moment when a dad riding his motorbike and his young daughter perched on his lap are sent flying after he sideswipes a car.

The terrifying dashcam footage shows the girl – who looks no older than four – disappearing under the car as she’s sent flying through the air.

Miraculously she bounces off one of the white BMW’s wheels and falls face down on the tarmac in the crash in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 18th January.

The crash happened as the bike crossed two lines of traffic.

Apparently, without seeing it, the biker hits the BMW and is sent bouncing off over a junction.

As his daughter is sent flying, the father and the bike carry on until they hit a crash barrier.

Then – as the stunned girl gets to her knees – the car driver leaps out of his BMW and scoops her up from the road in his arms.

The driver who shot the video – named as Zoul BraveSlick – shared the 22-second clip on the Facebook group DashCam Owners Malaysia.

He said the father had suffered severe injuries, although one photo of him with his daughter taken after the crash shows him apparently unharmed.

His terrified daughter escaped with cuts to her mouth and a nose bleed.

Zoul told local media that he performed first aid on the two before emergency crews transferred them to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (HUKM) for treatment.

He claimed that the father said he had been taking his daughter to work with him because his wife was visiting her family.

The video raised a lot of discussions after it was posted online.

Twitter user ‘Chef Pandaa’ said: “There’s nothing much I want to say, but most parents these days ride their kids on motorcycles without helmets.”

Another user named ‘beng’ criticised the father and said: “That’s micro-sleep. Take care of your health, guys; if you’re exhausted, take a break. Don’t endanger your family.”

Then a third user named ‘Pamie’ added: “Rather than looking for faults, let’s pray for both of them to be in good condition.”
