Mum Naile Kose, 43, a scrap dealer in Pamukkale, Denizli, Turkey, reportedly spent 45 days behind bars with husband Ercan Kose, 46, on charges of theft.

But after leaving prison, the two were welcomed by a terrible discovery upon returning home.

Naile’s daughter from her first marriage, Tugbanur Kurnaz, 21, a waitress who suffered from diabetes, has been left behind to fend for herself during her parent’s jail time.

It is unclear how she died but she was found lying motionless on the floor when Naile and Ercan came home after their lengthy absence.

The married couple reportedly had a nervous breakdown when they found Tugbanur’s lifeless body at home.

Emergency teams were immediately called in and it was soon determined the young girl had been dead for at least two days, reports say.

There were no injuries or signs of abuse on the body of Tugbanur, according to local media.

Her body was sent to Pamukkale University Hospital Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.

Naile and Ercan were photographed as they broke down in tears while their daughter’s body was being removed from the home.

Police and prosecutors initiated an investigation into the case of the girl’s sudden death.
