Cops Find 6yo Boy Chained To Front Door By Parents

These images show the six-year-old boy who cops found chained up to the front door of his house and his parents said the cruel punishment was a “method of education”.

The shocking discovery was made during a preventive raid to check for people at risk of domestic violence carried out by juvenile prevention officers from the Novoaydarsky Police Department in the village of Aidar-Nikolaevka in the Luhansk region of Ukraine.

The cops worked with social services officers and reportedly found the youngster, who has not been named in reports, tied up to the front door of his house with a metal chain.

First Deputy Head of the National Police, Vyacheslav Abroskin, wrote on social media that the check had been made on the house of a woman, born in 1992, and her husband, born in 1982, who works as a mechanic. Neither have been named in reports,

He added: “They found that a young child, born in 2013, had been strapped to the front door by a metal chain and was in the hallway of the home.”

Local media report that the boy had been chained up for bad behaviour an Abroskin wrote that “according to the father of the child, he has already used this ‘method of education’ on his son several times because he ‘damages property’.”

Abroskin added: “The child is being examined by doctors. Representatives from the Children’s Affairs Service will decide on the temporary removal of the child from the family.”

Local media report the parents have been arrested and deprived of their parental rights”. It is unclear if they have been charged.
